JD and I are up to our eyeballs in our first 4th Quarter, and we are loving it! Making sure I find products to sell on Amazon is, as always, incredibly important right now and so in order to keep our machine moving, sourcing is something I am working on every single day.

I have barely been blogging because I spend all my time looking for great products and buying (mostly online), and JD spends most of his time prepping and shipping. We are a well oiled team. (Well maybe not well oiled, but we do have a nice flow going.)

We decided to hire some sourcing help, but we really didn’t like the idea of using VAs in the Phillipines when we know great people here that could use some extra cash for their holidays.

So, we contacted a few people that we care about, trust, and want to be good to, and asked them if they’d like to give online sourcing a try.

They agreed, and we are so happy!

I created a little training specific to our business for them and got them started. They find us products to sell on Amazon, send them to me, and if they are a fit I buy them.

Once I make the purchase, we send them a “bounty,” rather than paying them per hour. We pay them once a week via Google Wallet.

We LOVE this method of finding products to sell on Amazon because I can’t be in all places at all times, and also because we get to be good to people we care about.

We haven’t seen any downside to this method ,but I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t tell you we are all still learning how to make this work.

The great thing is my team has lots of questions and they are so willing to learn. The more questions they ask, the more I can help them refine their process and find great products.
